How to Book
The booking is done as per the following steps. Go to the right hand of the screen and:
- Select the country you want to visit
- Select the town
- Select the hotel
- Select the type of room you are looking for
- Select check-in and check-out date
- Indicate the number of rooms for the type of room you have selected. If you want more than one room type, for instance you are looking for one double room and one single room in the same hotel; this will be a second booking which you will make once the first one is completed. It will be done at a later stage to link named “add to my selection”
- For each room selected, indicate the number of adults, children and infant who will share it. Cost per room will vary according to number of people occupying it.
- Room search result page will give you an overview of the hotel you have selected. By choosing select you will have the details of the rooms such as amenities
- Book/add to my selection: by clicking the link book, you will see a page showing you the hotel name, check in and check out date, and the total price due.
At this stage you have two options at hand:
- The First option is to go ahead with the booking by selecting ‘Reserve my Selection’. Once you choose this option, akomia.com reservation officer(s) get an immediate alert for the incoming request and will contact the concerned hotel immediately to check for availability. An email confirmation will be sent out automatically on completion of your order confirmation. Our reservation officer may propose you a similar hotel if there is no availability for your selection.
- The second option allows you to make ‘Additional Bookings’.
- Within a few moments, not exceeding 12 hours, you will receive a notification for payment. You must use your credit card or debit card to make a payment within the allotted 48 hours period after notification.
- Once payment has been received Akomia.com will send you a printable hotel voucher which you will present to the hotel at the time of check-in.
